EDAG OAP-Prozess (Obsolet-Absicherungs-Prozess)

Together with our development and manufactoring partners, we integrated 3D-printed armored steel parts in several small series of certified armored vehicles. The advantages for our customers are presented in the existing part in the picture above: armored steel, no tooling costs, complexe geometries, small bending radius, integrated overlaps, protected screw threads, local wall-thickness adaption and integrated interfaces to interior or mounting parts.
